
Maureen Keane TCRG, ADCRG - Started dancing at 8 years of age. Grew up in Detroit and later moved to seattle. Started teaching Irish dance in 1969 and obtained her TCRG in 1972. In 1981 she recieved her ADCRG certificate. Now resides in Mukletio Washington with her husband John who is the founder and treasurer of the Irish Heritage Club in Seattle. In her spare time she has published several books on nutrition and health which you can find at keanenutrition.com.She is happy to be in Irish dancing sharing her love of dance with the future generation of up and coming stars.
Kevin Doohan- Started dancing at age 6. First started dancing with Maureen Keane. Took a leave of absence for a few years and restarted with the Comerford school in seattle. With Comerford Kevin has placed top 3 in regional competitions and 4th in Nationals. In 1999 Kevin placed third in the world. After competitive dancing Kevin went on to dance professionally in Michaels Flatleys 'LORD OF THE DANCE'. Meg Delfosse-Doohan Meg, a native of chicago, illinois has been dancing since the age of 3 with ballet, tap, jazz, modern, and irish. At age 7, Meg joined Mark Howards 'TRINITY ACADEMY' where she danced for 11 years. During that time she has placed top three at national and regional championships and has placed at worlds in both solos and teams. Following that she became one of the original members of the 'TRINITY DANCE COMPANY' whigh she toured and danced with for 5 years. From there she was asked to join Michael Flatleys 'LORD OF THE DANCE' which she toured with for 4 years. it was while on tour where she met her husband Kevin. Meg is very excited to share her passion for dance with all the students of GRAFTON STREET ACADEMY.
